Google's Local Services Ads (LSA) platform is an important tool for most businesses for heaps of reasons! 👊
LSAs appear at the very top of the search results page, above even traditional paid search ads. This prime placement ensures that your business is prominently featured when potential customers search for services in your area, increasing your visibility..
LSAs come with a "Google Guaranteed" badge, which indicates that Google has vetted your business and stands behind the quality of your services. This badge can instill trust and credibility in potential customers, making them more likely to choose your business over competitors.
With LSAs, you only pay for qualified leads, such as phone calls or messages from interested customers. This pay-per-lead model can be more cost-effective than traditional pay-per-click advertising, where you pay for clicks regardless of whether they convert into leads.
As a small business owner, you don't need extensive digital marketing expertise to use this platform effectively. Navigating between each lead is incredibly straightforward
LSAs provide real-time reporting and insights, allowing you to track the performance of your ads and make data-driven decisions to optimize your advertising strategy.

0:00 Okay, what's up guys? This is uh, Brian from Town Leads. I'm gonna be reviewing a good friend of mine's local service ad account, on Google, and specifically his first month of business.
0:16 A bit of a background story, my friend became a fully licensed plumber after working for a larger plumbing company for I think like a year or two.
0:26 I forget the full, the full back story. He's a right in , well one town over from the hometown that I grew up in, in Grafton, I think he's in Sutton or Millbury, but he's covering Worcester County, Middlesex County, pretty much like the heart of Massachusetts, right?
0:48 So, pretty much the moment he was able to go on his own he did, and it's kind of an interesting story, too, because , he was offered like a manager position at, the plumbing business that he worked for, and he left the left on good terms, they're like, oh, you're a great worker, you know
1:07 , you're always welcome back here, even if, even if it doesn't work out. Uh, but it has been working out, so uh, as I'm recording this, it is, April 5th, his first month of business, and, I think, I think he had LSA set up, before he actually left the company, I don't know if I should
1:32 be saying this, but uh, yeah, so his official first day of business I think was like late September, maybe early October, but, his first, his first full 30 days of setting up his Google Atlas site and, really had to convince him to do it, and I'm glad I did.
1:50, he spent $1500 which sounds sounds like a lot, but, it's really not when you think about it because, Google local service ads, you show up as a Google guaranteed, listing, there's information about your business, the services that you provide, and you only pay per phone call
2:07 and that's a, bit different than your standard , Google search ad , I also helped him run some Google search ads as well and he spent tons of money, barely got any real leads , it's an expensive , you just get dropped random The deep end on these things , but , as you can see here it's
2:28 about fifteen hundred bucks and I got thirty four leads and if I can do my math alright, it reminds of being like fifty dollars, a phone call I believe , which is pretty affordable.
2:40 And these are all people that are looking for employment jobs too, so he was able to book the majority of the use and this was a game changer for his business.
2:46 Um, these people have essentially turned into referrals and he's got a rap truck that has his business name and logo and phone number on there.
2:54 Um. First month got 8,000 impressions. , this is old data, so I don't have the best stuff. Like I don't have click the rain and all that fun stuff.
3:05 But , this video is pretty much goes to just say that you should consider it good. Google Local Service Ads.
3:16 Service is service. Oh, that's the good thing I didn't sneeze in this video although I'm pretty close. So you got heaps of different move my face a little bit.
3:33 Heaps of different service types. Appliance, repair, carpenters, HVAC. Animal Rescue, this is a new one. Fencing Services, pretty cool. Oh.
3:44 landscaping, also a new one. Childcare, garage door services, um garage door and locksmith. We're actually why LSA exists. and that's a video for another day but a countertop service is pretty cool.
3:59 will pass control. These are all pretty um standard business types. Let's just pull up the actual. Oh this is really small.
4:11 Let me zoom in here. Let's see if they have any new verticals listed. Heaps of home services, heaps of professional, professional services specifically law.
4:21 But the home services is great, you know, this home, this has helped so much relative to your standard Google.
4:31 search ad. Cause you don't pay per click, you're paying per phone call and you can dispute if it's a rubbish lead, even if it's calling for a different business.
4:42, if your business is, you know, John Smith plumbing and someone calls for Tim Scott poison. Plumbing. You can say, hey, this wasn't for me and you get that $50 back, which is great.
4:52 So heaps of different services type. You'd be a fool not to use local service, especially in Worcester, uh, Worcester, Massachusetts.
